A reclusive shepherd, Tarik, is ruthlessly cast out because he’s believed to have awakened malignant supernatural forces. He returns as a haunting spectre to terrorise his wife and the village, blurring the line between reality and deep-seated trauma.

This is a story about a society that rejects the long-lasting presence of trauma. The village stands as a metaphor for a whole nation hiding from their inner turmoil. Using elements of ancient Bosnian mythology, this is a tale steeped in the shadows of a dark folklore, reflecting the stark realities of the post-war Balkans.
